Our Team

Our mission is to uncover masterpieces lost to the ages using AI.

George Cann

George is a researcher at Foster + Partners’ London office in the Specialist Modelling Group, exploring the application of AI and space research in architecture.

Previously he worked as a Mars researcher at the National Space Science and Technology Centre, at the United Arab Emirates University, and as a Science Team collaborator on the Emirates Mars Mission. His PhD research at University College London focused of detecting trace gases in the Martian atmosphere.

George’s influences in generating lost art lie at the nexus of space exploration, dreams, and science fiction. His work through Oxia Palus provides a glimpse into how combining AI, spectroscopy, and 3D printing can be used to create valuable art.

Anthony Bourached

Co-founder, CEO

Anthony is an Honorary Lecturer (Assistant Prof.) in Computer Science UCL, with a PhD in Machine Learning and Theoretical Neuroscience researcher from University College London. Anthony also holds an MSc in machine learning from University College London, an MSc in high performance computing from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA in theoretical physics from Trinity College Dublin.

Anthony views the evolutionary role of art—and people’s interaction with it—in society as a documentation of complex, cultural, and historical information. Information that, for lack of a formal scientific method of documentation, needs our emotions, interactions, and morality. He believes the study of art and culture with AI as a complex analytics tool is the ultimate scientific goal.
